Disappointed but not surprised to see, in an interview rather later, that Clive White tried to brand all anglers as sad acts, while the truth is that he was a sad act who happened to go fishing.

Indeed it has been in the public domain for a while - seriously though - lying about catching a big fish ruined his marriage???!!!!!! surely not that big a deal....

I thought it would have been but I hadn't seen it so just posted for the people who hadn't. What a sad thing to do. Almost feel sorry him, you gotta be a bit disturbed to do something like that that's premeditated!

Is that not the case with all these big fish waters?
They put in a massive trout, force fed to the point of obesity, and hope it gets caught before it dies!
surely all farmed trout dont count as "records", but purely biggest grown on!
