Default advice on rod

Hi

i have recently purchased an 11'0 7 weight rod which i really enjoy using from the boat whislt fishing lures, nymphs and wets.

I do find it difficult to cast and present a dry fly and am looking to buy a second rod for this purpose. I would appreciate some advice on rod length and line weight best suited. 99% of my fishing is from a boat

thanks for any advice
Scott

Use what you like but drop down a few line wts so that your presentation is more gentle. Try a 9ft 4wt or similar and see how you get on.
