Default best braided loops

Hi All

Relative newbie here with another daft question:

What's the best braided loops?

Is it a case of you gets what you pays for, or are they all basically the same with just a big mark-up for a brand name?

(Yes, I know I should use a needle knot thingy but I'm two months into river fishing and keeping it simple for now. BTW I'm using WF and DT #4, floating line if that helps with the answer to the question.)

THANKS

Hi bud. I've tried a few methods, including Greys Loop and Perfection knot but personally I like the Roman Moser minicon loops. keep the small red tube as a sight indicator or replace it with a clear one. For me neither presentation or turnover is compromised. You can pay up to £6.99 for five at premium tackle dealers, or hunt about on here for half that price. Simple and effective mate.

Don't much like the sleeves myself so prefer to whip mine on using cotton rather than silk and a rubber based glue

Neil

Either whip them on or use the sleeve there still the best loops available

Me a smarty pants nether, just giving my opinion on the best method to attach them to a line that's all thus giving the OP more options

And please don't get me on the subject of that idiot.Maybe if you watched him as a concerned angler about the way he treats fish and not the viewing public or any anti's watching then maybe you might understand my gripp against him

By far the best are Roman Moser Mini Cons.
I sell loads of them and get plenty of repeat business on them so people seem to like them.
I whip mine on then cover with a small amount of bug bond.
This method has never let me down.

The best braided loops by far are those you don't buy, or use, or that you cut off your line and throw away. Go for the needle knotted length of thick monofilament instead and build your leader onto that.
