Default what is your go to dry fly

ok guys when the fish are feeding on top and nothing is tempting them what fly do you reach for and think i know what will tempt them.what do they find difficult to refuse.

yes i blanked doing a bit of dry fly fishing lol.

New to this but a big old daddy long legs (crane fly).

If they aren't interested in that they won't take anything.

hi im a newbie Griffiths gnats on big or small still waters and rivers always do it for me

I never go fishing without:

CDC Buzzer
Shipmans Buzzer - fished greased up to the hilt
little black Klinkhammer size 16
CDC black & CDC olive emergers
White Wulf size 16
Black Hopper

Of those, the most successful one i find is the CDC buzzer
They'll take that when they won't have owt else where I fish.

A Griffiths Gnat. It's saved me a few blanks on the toughest of days.
