Default Best Bung/Indicator

Hey!

I know alot of people dont like these and have problems with them BUT at the end of the day the method catches fish, and thats what I go fishing for

So people who do use them whats your preffered indicator?

I like the Thingamabobber as they are easy, quick and simple to use and move. The only problem I feel (even the smallest 1/2") is that they may be a tad too bouyant causing the trout to spit it out before Ive had time to strike, although I am like lightening lol

Ive tried the fish pimp, but I feel its a waste of time (and money) because there not easy to use, move and they slide up and down the line.

Any others you could recommend?

Cheers Guys,

Add.

The best is the smallest you can get away with, weather it is foam, yarn or a fly.

I like Loon Biostrike, you can use a very small amount and I find it stays put unlike some other 'putty' indicators I have used. Still prefer to fish without it, and I know some frown upon it, but when the water is very choppy or the fish are taking incredibly gently it does help!

I took my Father fishing recently and he just wasn't seeing gentle takes, nor feeling anything. Popped a little of this on at the leader knot and he suddenly realised just how many takes he had been missing. Comes in a tub 50% fluorescent pink/50% flourescent yellow for different light conditions... it works .

same here. For most fishing biostrike does it for me, especially since I fish light stuff most of the time. A ball the size of a small pea is about enough. If I need much more than that, i.e. big water nymphing, I have bigger foam indicators.

Thanks
Rick

Pimp style for me - never come off nor slide (assuming you throw away the rubber stopper and use a cocktail stick)....

The Thingummybobbers are horrible for casting

I like the pirates idea, think i,ll copy that
floating fry is good also, these hold 2-3 droppers depending on type of buzzers etc... and you have the choice of hooking fish on the floating fry
Yellow in these i find good or a lime green... well worth a try.
