Default Lake District - Centre Parks?

Hiya - wondering if anyone has been to the Centre Parks in the Lake District and managed to squeeze some fishing in - where did you go and timescales etc?

You are not far from Penrith when you are at Centre parcs, therefore the mecca that is John Norris. I think you can get day tickets for local stretches of river from Charles Sykes gunshop/ fishing shop. To find Sykes go past John Norris towards the town (Norris on the left) take the second left after John Norris, turn right, Sykes is about 50 yards on the left. You will see a car park on the right. Its been a very long time since I fished the area (when I was a boy growing up) But we used to go on the Eamont and the Lowther as well as the Eden at Lazonby.

Hope you manage to get out

I'm going there in Sept, to catch the end of the brown trout season, hope to do some grayling fishing as well.

Head to Norris's and get Penrith AA tickets for the Eamont or Lowther at Penrith, or there's the Eden at Bolton Bridge or Appleby, also on Penrith AA ticket I think.
