Default Advice needed for Grafham this Sunday

Dear Forum,

Am heading to Grafham this Sunday for a much needed all day session on the boat and am looking for advice on tactics and locations/drifts.

I've read the latest GWFFA report (June 19th) and have some ideas.

WindGuru says it will be warm, sunny day with 7-10mph winds from the south.

Can you offer advice on lines/flies and where to fish?

Best regards

Josh

Sunday 19th - Fish caught mid water from G buoy to shore on a SW wind also between N buoy and valve tower close in when wind changed to Westerly.

DI5 with washing line set up worked with nymphs, sunburst blob/ sparkler booby point.
hope this helps you have a good day, at least the wind will have dropped, and that will change everything!

The Seat area on Midge tip and crunchers.....

N buoy to Dam......Di-5 sweep or Di7....pulling orange blobs, boobies or sparklers....

Also fish in Gaynes (dam corner)

fishing pretty well at the moment

Thanks for the advice.

I'll certainly try what's been suggested and post the outcome :-)

Thanks for all the advice

Faired quite well on Sunday despite the blistering heat.

Had four to the boat - found a shoal of stockies at the bowl of the dam on Di- 7 with cats booby and took a lovely bar of silver at Savages on midge tip.

Best wishes & Tight Lines
