Hi Forum members,

I once saw a page with a DIY description of how to "turn" your own tapered leaders of a piece of nylon the same diameter as the butt section. I've been looking and searching the web thin, but I can't find it anywhere.

I'm not talking about furled leaders, but "normal" tapered knotless leaders like the ones you can buy, just "home made" instead. As I remember it was something with a drill and a piece of nylon strung between to small hooks (one in the drill).

Can anyone help me?

This one uses a drill and hook but they're calling it a furled leader so again I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for.
