I have one and had no problems with it. Good honest reel and fits on the most unusual reel seats..........

My first adventure into large arbour was a vision koma + in a 7/8 weight. (It's basically a vision koma but with more machined parts.) So I don't have many points of comparison, but I liked it so much I got another in 4/5 weight. It just does the job really well. Easy to change spools. Good drag. Looks good. Holds line. No fuss.

I have a black 7/8 weight reel and it's pretty good. I have slow sinking line on the spare spool.

I think they are an excellent little reel - I have two with a load of spare spools to cope with all my line options.

I must admit, I very rarely use the reel for fighting the fish, so the drag hardly ever comes into play, apart from the other week on Draycote when I foul-hooked a 5 pounder in the tail - boy did he go, took 30 yards of backing twice!

When I was buying these I was going to go for the 7/8 weight, but was advised to go for the 6/7 instead as it has a wider arbor. For me it didn't matter that they don't hold as much backing, as I rarely play the fish off the reel anyway.

cheers
Brian
