Hey Guys,

So my trip to Carsington was well worth it, I had 13 trout and this monster Perch!!

I managed to weigh him, 3lb 3oz which is my PB bar far!!!

Ignore me, I forgot I wasn't wearing my cap

Also, to add to yesteray I got my first ever Troutmasters badge. All in all a really good day

Thats a beezer of a Perch, you could look a bit happier tho, you got one of those Carp angler faces going on

I have managed a Lot of little Perch and 1 decent one on the flies and caught a Pike on a blob, and my biggest fish to date on a fly rod is still a Bream well into doulble figures that I caught on Daiwl Bach in Rutland.

Cracking perch there fellah, many of us go through our careers not seeing one that size.

I am planning a trip (my first) to Carsington v soon, what tactics and areas worked for you?.
