Hi if you are within striking distance of Sheffield this weekend (19th June), or on 10th July or on 31st July then please come along and meet the SPRITE crew.

We will be teaming up with local conservation (RVCG), residents' associations (WINTARA) and wildlife trusts (Sheffield WT) but we need good numbers of bodies in order to make light work of the problem.

If you do come along, the SPRITE members usually do some fishing following the plant removal activities - so its a good chance to meet new angling friends as well as get the inside line on new river venues. Nice one Rick - we tend to do approximately half days of "work" and half fishing on these things so if you time it right you'll get at least a bit of both.
