That was a long time I didn't connect...No time for fishing recently.

I have a night sea trout fishing trip planned for Mid-July in Wales. The plan was for me to go fishing over night with the guide and during the day doing some visiting with my wife. But it has change now, she may not be able to come with me therefore I'll be free and can spend all day for fishing as well. I've booked the guide -Kim Tribe- for the night only (I can't pay for more).

That's why I am looking for advise on where to fish during the day for trout and grayling...Best of all, would be someone to come with me.

You could try the Tawe or the Dulais.
Permits for the Tawe are available from HR Jones in Clydach.
Or there is a two mile stretch at the Riverside Caravan Park for £2 for 24 hours (Bargain).
The Dulais is run by the Dulais & District Angling Association and permits are from a local newsagent in Resolven. (not sure which one, but its on thier web site)
An even cheaper route is the free part of the Tawe from Swansea Liberty Stadium to the city, where you can get some nice trout and the occatioonal salmon!
Theres also loads of reservoirs in the area and quite a few fisheries.
Im only a beginner myself so Ive done a lot of research lately. Please let me know if I can be of any further help.

Excellent choice in booking Kim Tribe. I was due for some lessons with him but had to cancel due to jury service.
