I just wanted to say publicly how impressed I am with their customer service. Its always when things go wrong that you find out what a company is really like.

I had a problem with a line I got from them, it was a floating one but sections of it started sinking!
Mailed them Sun, didnt expect much as the line was "free" as part of a deal - old model trion + free line (I guess to get rid of them)

Got a reply on mon and the replacement line turned up today

I don't even need to send the other one back - thought I would so they could verify the problem

I had a Hardy line that broke first time out.I sent it back and a new one arrived two days later with no quibble.

Agreed John Norris are very good, unlike Lathams... I ordered a net from them 10 days ago, no sign of it, they dont answer emails, dont answer the phone and when I obtained the customer service managers number and tried it....guess what? he`s not there, you have been warned.

Agreed about John Norris for tackle sales, both the well known brands and their own brand stuff...JN's prices are competitive and their mail order service is excellent.

One word of caution is perhaps to avoid John Norris' flies. They seem to work down to a price, resulting in inconsistent and tatty product. Professionally tied flies should be neat, tight and examples of the same pattern like peas in a pod.

Agreed, John Norris are great in the cust. service dept., very prompt and polite responses to pre-sales questions. Let's hope my latest order arrives on time...

Have to agree, great service ordered a new vest last thursday at 2.50pm the woman said that it will be in the post that day, 10.10am friday vest arrived ,
cant get better than that
