Hey!

This place was mentioned in a thread i started and I managed to find a report for the place, hope this helps:

"Hello

Well the fishery looks set to surpass itself, last weeks fishing was as good as I have ever seen it. The fish are coming to just about any pattern which is offered and several anglers have opted to fish only dries.

F1 continues to provide plenty of excitement, yesterday evening an angler took his 15 limit on a last 4hr ticket and went home before dark.

Mountain Ash Fly fishers held their club boat competition on F2 yesterday 13 anglers took part. Each angler completed their bag of 8 fish, totalling 104 fish. The winner with a bag weight of 20lb 6oz and heaviest fish of 4lb 14oz was Mr T Owen.

For those of you who are keen on stats the below shows the catch returns for this season so far.

FEBUARY 2011
FARMOOR 1. 28 ANGLER'S CAUGHT 60 FISH GIVING AN AVERAGE OF 2.1 PER ROD
FARMOOR 2. 255 ANGLER'S CAUGHT 1100 FISH GIVING AN AVERAGE OF 4.3 PER ROD
MARCH 2011
FARMOOR 1. 86 ANGLER'S CAUGHT 313 FISH GIVING AN AVERAGE OF 3.6 PER ROD
FARMOOR 2. 518 ANGLER'S CAUGHT 1924 FISH GIVING AN AVERAGE OF 3.7 PER ROD
APRIL 2011
FARMOOR 1. 127 ANGLER'S CAUGHT 422 FISH GIVING AN AVERAGE OF 3.6 PER ROD .
FARMOOR 2. 833 ANGLER'S CAUGHT 3894 FISH GIVING AN AVERAGE OF 4.6 PER ROD .
MAY 2011
FARMOOR 1. 133 ANGLER'S CAUGHT 615 FISH GIVING AN AVERAGE OF 4.6 PER ROD
FARMOOR 2 .535 ANGLER'S CAUGHT 1266 FISH GIVING AN AVERAGE OF 2.3 PER ROD

If June continues in the way it has started then we are going to need a bigger calculator. Please remember to put in your returns before you leave no matter what, the nil returns are as important to us as the full bags. Also each month the returns go into a draw for a £15 spend in the shop.

Thanks to all who continue to support the fishery and welcome to all the newcomers

I'm aiming to fish on Friday. Probably F1 as I prefer to C & R. 18' leader with a small but heavy buzzer on point plus two size 14 buzzers on droppers did 11 for me last time there. I'll try to post my results before Saturday so you'll have up to date info.

Looking forward to it Gordon.

Tina will be weather dependent, I'll be there no matter what though.

Almost finished the adoptive Fathers day card, it's looking good. Run out of glitter, but the macaroni & crayon work looks proper shiny.
