I have the 9ft 6" for a six and i love it.Im not a hardy man myself but this rod has changed my mind.I can feel the rod loading beautifully and it send`s a lovely line out, even in a strong headwind. This is the only rod in the range that i have tried mind!Thinking about the 5 weight for next season!!

Supposed to replace the Angel, as they kept snapping (and Hardy's guarantee isn't worth much either!) Chair of our Syndicate has snapped one too, think I would hang off yet as there appears to be a few problems (Again)

How come the Angel is a lot more expensive than the Zenith?

I thought they were marketed as virtually unbreakable, how did your mate snap the tip off it??

9ft 5 weight has got some great write ups.

It was the Angel one that had the problems I think
I don't think the sintrex is a direct replacement for the Angel 2 have you seen the price drop on them?
I have had no problems with them and I am hard on rods.
Could be some people are heavy handed and not taking care

One of the best rods on the market. You will be able to cast all day. The wt6 is a great rod.

I tried a few of them and they are like any other rod, put the right line on it and it is superb put the wrong line of the same weight on it and it is poor.

I tested a couple of six weights with different lines one was very good the other made me think the rods were different.

I could not cast them any further than my Z Axis or my G-Tec in the same weights.

I had a go with one a few weeks ago. A 9ft 5wt and to be honest I wasn't very impressed, in fact I thought it was very poor. I have a 9.5ft XF2 streamflex and its a much nicer rod. I think there is a lot of hype with this rod and I would doubt it is worth the money either, I mean how good can it be compared to any of the new modern rods. I think Hardy are trying to reinvent the wheel....
