Hi all im sure i read somewhere that cortland do a line that comes in for example a 7.5wt. i cant seem to find it anywhere? maybe i just miss read or imagined it??????

SA GPX and Rio grande are both a half weight heavier than AFTMA midpoint. Cortland did offer lines in half weights but I can't remember if it was a specific range. These days most 'specialist lines desighned to load today's fast action rods' are overweight lines for rods more powerful than their stated aftma rating, to convince us all that the 4wt is the new 5wt etc - which translate to your 4 wt IS a 5wt!
