Default C&R net repair

Hi all
I have a wooden C&R net that has seen better days. The handle and rim are still fine though and has that nice worn look about it whcih means I am reluctant to bin it. Is there are a straightforward way of replacing the mesh, or do I send it to someone, or do I bin it

Could you not just lace it around the top like the old style nets used to be! or maybe some fine cable ties.
For a neat job you will have to drill out the old fixings with a fine drill and lace in through these.

If you decide to 'bin it' please send it my way so I can see if Reneé Foxon can fix it.
