Default Fishing Torduff Reservoir

Hi, I was wondering if you were allowed to fish Torduff. I was there last Friday(the really hot day) with my mates. I noticed some reasonable fish from the cliff ledge. Found loads of thick line, whats it like for pike fishing? Any Info on this place would be great.

Dont think permits to fish torduff are available, that is, not sold/managed. Perhaps is free fishing.
Try contacting clubbiedean management (next reservoir up), they should keep you right re access/fishing permits.

There is no fishing on Torduff. I remember fishing it on an evening when I was a boy. We got caught so run away up onto one of the surrounding hills the the guy threw our rods into the water. Ahhhh the good old days and what we got up to when we were young.

I know a few hibbies who used to have a p****e in it,thinking that the Jambos from Gorgie used it for drinking water.

Bert - has Clubbiedean reopened? And by implication, has Glencorse?

They are both still closed, Scottish waster owns them and leases them. They are currently under Let noticed them for sale while "Googling" Also if you go onto Scottish Water website and go under the Lesuire tab then click fishing, It has list of reservoirs they own with contact details, glencourse and clubbiedean have been blank for a while now.

Dooks Fisheries ran both Glencorse and Clubbiedean for the past four years but sadly he gave up the lease on them this year.To my knowledge both are unmanaged at the moment. No fishing on Torduff....deemed to dangerous....**** all in it anyway.
