Default Lost Rod Grafham Tuesday 7th June

If anyone found a rod in a tube in one of the boats at Grafham on Tuesday evening can you please get in touch.

I've been in touch with the lodge and nothing was found but they can confirm that the boat I used was used by the Tuesday Night boat league so I'm hoping one of them found it or picked it up by mistake.

Many thanks

Gareth

Hope you find it.

Have you tried getting in touch with someone from GWFFA. They might be able to help track it down.

Not yet but I'm still hopeful. I spoke to one of the Grafham Ranges who said that there was nobody on duty when the Tuesday night league boats came in. so I'm hoping one of them took it home and will return it next Tuesday evening.

After putting the whole incident down to a bad experience I've just had a phone call from the Secretary of GWFFA who informed me that the rod has turned up.

Someone took it home by mistake and has just returned it.

Thank you so much to everyone from the forum who has helped track it down and for the kind offers of loan rods, cheap replacement etc (you know who you are)

Anglers are a great bunch of people and have restored my faith in humanity.

Thank you all again.

Gareth.
