Get yer buns out there!
Loch is always carrying a head of algae/discolouration, but doesnt effect the fishing.
A lot of the colour in water just now is cos of the strong winds stirring up sediment, this is settling down, and as always at this time of year on loch 8 o'clock at night onwards is best time.

You will have no problem i fished it over 10 times this season alone!!! and the algae is only at the top bay of the loch and has no effect on the fish feeding and according to the report: Weekly Loch Reports the algae isnt effecting the fishing so you should be fine
p.s I would use nylon with breaking strain of no less than 6lb as there are lots of 10-16 lb fish caught every week
Regards,
Tom
