Default Trout stomach autopsy

Following on from a recent post on stomach pumping, when one does retain a trout how does one locate the stomach when gutting the fish? Is it easily identified?

Look at the "pipework" mouth -gut-**** .
slice the gut open and all will be revealed.
Simples, think I worked it out for my self when I first gutted a trout and was interested in the contents, then I was trained to gut fish in a restaurant kitchen .

Thanks ACW, I always seem to get confused with all the blood and probably am cutting into it when opening the fish's belly. Next time I will be more careful when gutting and try to keep the stomack intact.
