Can anybody give me the name of a UK stockist of those fancy Abel line snips? Glasgow Angling Centre is the only one I can find, and they seem to be permanently out of stock. I want them for a pal's birthday (I use the cheapo ones myself) so I need them within the next week or so. If anyone can help I would be most grateful.

You may just want to order it from the states. I just ordered an Abel reel from Home Page - Stillwater Outfitters and it was accidently shipped to the UK - came in less than a week (6 days).
They have free international shipping for orders over $200, so you may want to check how much they will charge for the nippers.

And given that it's less than £40 it shouldn't fall foul of import duties/delays - but don't quote me on that
