anyone out there using a 9ft 5wt loop aeg,if so what line do you use with it.i am currently using a wf5 rio gold but i think the rod would be better suited to a wf6 any opinions cheers chaps,craig

I've used the gold on mine last season, changed to the loop opti stillwater this season. Out of the two of them I prefer the loop. I've got the loop multi in a seven wieght and really like that, so may try it in a five.

I use an Opti Stillwater on mine. Doesn't load great at short distances but with the (relatively short) head out it's fine. Why overline it? It will spoil a very nice rod- just my opinion
