Hi I am going fishing this saturday and it is still to be windy and I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any trout fisheries near the central belt (scotland) that are shelltered from the wind? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Try to get on Beecraigs,(Linlithgow) you will need to phone fishery for availability.
Beecraigs Fishery Form
Is surrounded by trees and doesnt seem to get as badly effected by south westerlies as other fisheries

I don't see any particular wind, certainly not much over 10 mph for Scotland this Saturday when I checked on the GFS and ECM charts - where are you seeing this?

Certainly down into England the North-Easterly will pick up but Scotland misses most of this from what I can see.

I was at the Watch again today Bert - there were actually a couple of folk moaning about the wind!! It was nothing more than enough to create a nice ripple. If only they'd been there last Sunday
