Hi

Have a look at the local fishing info at Orvis in Pickering, we may have fished there last summer but I can't remember the name of the place, if it is the same lake it only takes four rods so you need to book in advance.

There is also a small trout lake in Pickering next to the steam railway but it is also a fun fishing venue ! not many folks cup of tea but you will catch, I should add casting is somewhat restricted but fish are never far from the bank.

Hope this is of some help and tight lines !

Tricia
