Two options come to mind in the "affordable" category. Cabela's TQR series from cabelas.com and Temple Fork Outfitters Finesse Series rods.

Keep in mind that for tight quarters hand-to-fin combat fishing, you don't want a fast action. A fast action short rod is practically uncastable becuse you don't have enough line off to load the rod properly.

Not sure what you are trying to achieve, 6ft equals tight space = floppy & light.

For example the Hardy Glass/Lw series or Orvis superfines.

Where are you fishing?

SHakespeares Trion XT 6.5ft is a nice little rod and only £40 but is a three wt but could use a four line on it

Superfine Trout Bum 664-3 Fly Rod -- Orvis UK

Although it says £279. Go to an Orvis shop and tell them a mate got one for £200. I'm sure they'll honour it

Very cheap one is the shakespeare odyssey. I have a 7ft one and love it. Might have been cheap as chips but fishes very well

Thanks every body for useful replies.

Actually I'm sure all the suggested rods are good ones, but the point is that I should have mentioned that I'm a student. I mean the term "affordable" would have different meanings for different persons. Most of the mentioned rods are not affordable for me.

I found the Cabela's TQR has a reasonable price, thinking about 5'6'' weight 4 one. Grouse suggested this rod and also mentioned a rod for tight places should have a slow-medium action. The point is that this TQR has a medium-fast action. Just wanted to know if anyone have tried them and their action.
