Default New Dry Fly Rod ???

I have a Sage Z Axis 9' 5# that I use for dry fly fishing from the lake boat. A cracking rod for this purpose.

I only went and broke it last week

I have sent it back to Sage in the States but it will probably be another month or so before I get it back.

I need to get a backup rod in the meantime but I don't want to spend the same amount of money on it. Has anybody got an opinion as to what rod would be simular but cheaper in price?

Thanks in advance,

Ray.

IMO no rod would match up to your Sage except another Sage. Just get yourself one of the many cheap rods around the £25 mark just to put you on.Sage blanks are unique it would be remarkable to find a similar action and quality for little money.
