Default Natural flies only ?? i.e. no indicators

Please dont bend this thread into a debate on the rights and wrongs of indicator floats/flies,,, but,,,,

Do waters exist which ban them, and so force people only to use natural patterns/lures.

As I am starting to understand the debate, it made me think it would be nice to fish a stillwater which only allows natural style flies (I imagine its not easy to quantify/police).

From what I read, lots of the indicator float methods seem very effective at times, and it does seem a shame if natural styles are less effective, and thus it does apeal to me to find waters which set a 'level' playing field

If anyone knows such waters (in the west midlands, north west, or yorkshire) I would be grateful for links etc

What is un-natural about a buzzer fished under a bung?
What is a natural lure?
You are confused

I am not confused,,, didnt take long for someone to try to bend it,,,,, perfect choice of word by me.

a bung isnt a natural fly,,,,,, and a natural lure would be a lure tied with natural materials,,,,, to impersonate an insect or small fish.

so, to clarify (sure it didnt need it) flies which are tied to directly impersonate a naturally occuring creature.......

Why does it matter to you what others are using, I don't understand why you care?

No, it wasn't a waste of time ... perhaps a little naive ... but you really need to consider what is a 'natural fly'?

Do you mean an exact as possible representation of a natural insect ... dun, spinner, nymph or larvae perhaps, in which case a huge number of traditional patterns / attractors would be deemed inappropriate as would the majority of klinkhammers, emergers, bugs and 'buzzers' ... let alone most of the lures that have been popularised over the last 30 or 40 years.

This is a pholosophical issue that almost resulted in 'fly fishing' being torn to shreds in the Halford / Skues debate of the late 19th and early 20th Century.

Luckily, for the majority, fly fishing is perceived to be a much 'broader church' these days.

It really wasnt such a complicated question, maybe I worded it badly.

Can anyone advise on any stillwaters which have banned the use of blobs, indicators floats etc

the last time I fished a small stillwater, I was surprised to see a guy cast out, put his rod down, open his chair and sit there (he did catch) all day. Its not against the rules, so I dont have a problem with him as an individual having a good days fishing,,, but while you see so many people complaining about it,,, I was thinking maybe there are waters that work to eliminate this 'branch' of fly fishing
