So, what is bad luck for you when fishing?

In SA you are liable to be thrown overboard if you bring boiled eggs on a boat on the East Coast

For me, if I mess up my first 3 or 4 casts then I know my day is going down the pan


But does anyone have any superstitions about their fishing?

I know MrTrout doesnt like to go out for a day on the river without his lucky hat on..............

Getting away from trannies and onto bad luck. My biggest bug bare is get my line round the boat prop. After that it's being broken by specimen fish.Why is it that big fish tend to escape?

If I see a single magpie on my way to fishing I'm convinced I'm going to have a bad day. Two make everything ok.Crazy isn't it?
