Default which retailer has the best flies?

I've bought several from The Essential Fly, they seem to be good value and well tied.

Any idea how these compare in quality and price to other shops or makers?

Any retailers recommended - or otherwise?

Or is there not much in it?

Thanks

Very useful if you fish any really overgrown streams where they are likely to be claimed by trees, brambles etc otherwise stick with Fulling Mill. or do as I did and spend a small fortune on fly tying kit, beware though it's almost as addictive as fly fishing itself!

I like the fly factory. Their flies are really good quality and very competitively priced. Promp deliveries and really well packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, but recorded delivery which can be a bit of a pain if you're not there to sign, but that minor inconvenience is worth it.

I've used Essentialflies, Iansflies and Taffbargoed and been happy with them all. Recently I've used the members on the forum more and IMHO they provide good quality and great value.

(I've been known to lose a fly or two from time to time )

I've bough flies from most of the ones already mentioned, yet i have never seen a service such as you get with Chris - Saltwater Fly Shack his service is second to none, and prices are just perfect, give him a try.

Oh and i'm not affiliated with them at all, neither do i want to have his babies or free flies.

Best regards
Jim

Well i was kidding about the free flies
