Default rutland

going to rutland first week in june for three days can anyone recommend a good bed and breakfast - pub or self catering for two guys single rooms only as one guy is a heavy snorer hence the need for single rooms, within a decent price range.

Premier Inn Market Harborough £29 a night breakfast extra. Good pubs in the area. I've stayed there when fishing in comps.

Another vote for Morcott Travelodge. Just down the road- walking distance- is a cracking pub that does excellent grub- called the White Horse I think.

Dolphin Stamford, cheap n cheerful.
Stamford Lodge, nicer, central location in Stamford, 5 miles from Rutland. Or try Malcolm March, he has a cottage in Edith Weston, he posts on here, and is a Rutland guide.

Have to say I have never stayed at any of these places, as I live in Stamford. You will find a great choice of pubs and restaurants, close by, which could be better than being stuck in a village.

I agree, best to steer clear of Market Harborough. The Premier Inn in Corby is another option.
