Default Best Di7 line?

Dear All,

Could someone pass on their experiences of sinking lines and recommend a Di7 line? This is to be used on a g tec 7wt rod.

From previous posts i am erring towards airflo but not sure as they have various di7s. Could someone clarify the differences between sixth sense, extreme, expert etc in simple terms and help me make a decision on what line to purchase. At present I use snowbee line for floating line applications.

Many Thanks,

Ade

These are all Airflo.
Sixth sense= normal line
Expert =40+ long head
Extreme=40+ short head
If boat fishing get sixth sense.

I haven't tried the sixth sense lines, i use a Cortland 444 SL Classic Type 6 (WF #7) which may be near enough a Di7 equivelant (ie: similar sink rate).

I don't believe Cortland do a Type 7, but i could be wrong anyway excellent line shoots like a dream and like the sixth sense sinks at around 7inches per second.

Best regards
Jim

Would say,unless you want an out and out distance line the sixth sense lines take some beating.Still some good deals on ebay for the old model ones

all the best Nick

"Best Di7 line?" Di-7 would have to be made by BVG-Airflo as it their trademark.

Deep 7 Full Sinking Fly Line | Rio

Having said that the Rio 'Deep 7' - only #7 size - was regarded as the superior line, certainly on Chew Valley.
