Default Clay lane fishery

I all, am having a trip to clay lane Friday. Has anyone fished it recently. how was it?

Went Friday mainly cause I had a lesson with Phil Ratcliff Lesson was great but Fishery

Hi C
from what I saw there has been no work done at this plaxce for years, platforms in a bad state weed everywhere and no fish, well 6 fish caught in the last 10 days are so.
pretty bad for a commercial fishery IMO.
Lesson well worth having though.

I use to fish the place around 5 years ago and it was hard then. Went for a walk there the other day, after seeing this post. What a mess as stated platforms a mess and full of weed. Unless they are taking dryflys, forget the place. Just look how much it costs for a weedy pond?
