Default venue for tomorrow

hi, last few venues ive fished here in northern ireland have been vulnerable to the wind, tildarg, kilgad and straid. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a spot here in N.I thats maybe a little sheltered from the elements

Murloc can be pretty sheltered depending on wind direction. I have found though that the fish congregate on really windy days quite close in. If you stand on the bank with the wind in your face there is some cracking fishing to be had. You dont even need to cast far...

went to corbet lough, wont be back though. phoned this mornin to see was it windy, guy said no, asked him how it was fishin, "fishin well mate, plenty being caught". i thought happy days, got down, £15, ok paid that, asked much for the boat "oh theyre for club members only" ruined the day to be honest, 1 boat was the only 1 we seen being used alday, also asked the guy wat the fish were takin, "dunno" was his reply. blanked and didnt see anyone else catch 1 fish, locals told me hasnt fished well last 3-4weeks. so much for plenty bein caught eh

The problem with phoning the fishery to ask for info is they will mostly bend the truth to get you to come anyway, I imagine you won't be back there then? I do find the best source of info on fisheries is online, you will always get an honest response...
