Led to believe it's fishing well at the moment.

Have a good time.

Latest report from SW Lakes-April
Wimbleball – anglers continued to enjoy superb sport at Wimbleball, with rods averaging 3.9 fish per angler over the month (one week rods averaged 4.6 fish). The best fish of the month (and so far the season for all South West Lakes Trust waters) was a superb rainbow of 9lb 2oz, caught by N.Hamm, using a Pheasant Tail Nymph (he also caught a rainbow of 3lb 4oz in the same session). A few mayfly have already appeared at the Upton Arm, and imitations have started to catch fish. The most successful patterns however, have been a selection of imitative nymph patterns (such as Diawl Bach, Hares Ear, Pheasant Tail Nymphs and Buzzers) fished on an intermediate line in the Ruggs Bay and Bessoms Bridge area; Boobies, Vivas, and Cats Whiskers have caught fish in the deeper water.

Look on the Kennick Flyfishers website, you will usually find the Wimbleball weekly report there

Thanks for your news, will check out the kennick site. Always found south west water sight a bit unhelpful to be honest. If i remember rightly there is catch reports in the lodge to so will do some swating there beforehand. thanks jon
