The 2 methods that worked for us were firstly DI7 line with two lures a humongous (or anything black/sliver/gold) on the point and a small cat on the droppers, cast it out then start stripping like f*** and i mean as fast as you can, not a very enjoyable way of fishing but it produced we had 8 fish to the boat biggest 3lb, or you can use buzzers a pretty heavy buzzer on the point you need to be right on the bottom and use a strick indicator, cast out and dont move them at all fish them totally static, hope this helps, Gary

Hi Jim really enjoyed my day on Leven and thanks to your kindness giving us tactics and some flies we managed to get a few fish.

JCD, Jim is the guy to ask about Leven he kindly helped us out when we were struggling.

Thanks again Jim and good luck and tight lines for the rest of the season, i will keep an eye out for the scottish results,

Gary
