I don't want to hi-jack this forum but thought i may have more chance of a response in this section, so please forgive.
I had the unfortunate experience of snaping my much loved Enigma tci a few weeks back whilst afloat.

Does anyone have a spare top section lying around?????? or know where i might source one?
the model is an enigma tci 10ft weight, only bought last year. thanks

what warrenty came with the rod-are they part of airflo? might be worth contacting fishtec

Can get a replacement for another rod etc but seems mad to throw away a good rod less than year old. Would be good to keep it going even if it went to someone that needed a rod etc.

depends on how much of the top section you broke if its only the tip ,you can remove the top eye and whip it further down .

Problem is i have to chop the remaining top section up and send back!!!!!

less than a year old it's still under manufacturers warranty, although you don't say if YOU broke the tip or it broke while fishing, if the latter it should be replaced with a rod of same or higher value by the manufacturer

I have been told the rod will be upgraded, but it seems criminal to throw the rod away not being a year old etc. Plus the company ask you to chop the broken section and post it back!
