Unhappy Flies for Small fishery

I recently had a bad day at a small local fishery(Somerset). Nothing would work, yet all around took there fair share. I looked at my set up nothing different from most, that day, I know I need to improve my casting but it's not that bad. Any suggestions .

Keep it simple - if all else fails just twiddle a small black buzzer

Hello David

Give me a clue.Where in Zummerzet.Have you any damsel nymphs/woolly bugs/buzzers/diawl bachs/bloodworms.Blobs are good and you do not always have to pull them

Ok David

Never fished there so would need a look around to be more accurate. If you plan to fish there again I would email Nick Hart for some advice.I am sure he will help.

You were probably just in the wrong place at the wrong time - that's how it goes.

How deep was the water at this fishery ?
If it was fairly shallow and the fish do not have the option of going deep when the weather warms up suddenly then they can go off the feed for a while.
In which case you did your best, but under such conditions it would have been v hard to catch
