Anyone recommend a good nailknot tying tool!!

Is this what your after?.

A card of 3 tapestry needles from a drapery store. The different sizes make it easy to tie nail knots on various sizes of fly line...for example, the requirements to tie a needle knot on the tippet of a size 5 floater are different to those for the thick end of a size 9 shooting head.

Ha tried it but won't work as I keep getting the line tangled

Now I saw that in the shop, however the other type I saw (not in shop) was more like a tube with a slot in it.
However was hoping someone can recommend one they use.

I bought something like this (although a cheaper brand), clippers aren't great but the knot tool works well - unfortunately I can't remember where they were from

sportsfish do 1 same but not 100% sharp clipper, good clipper from £ shop so use both.

I use a nailless nail knot. I use it for backing to fly line and have done for some forty years
