Its up to you,a lot of anglers switch hands to wind in or play a fish, never heard of them loosing fish because of it.Me I'm right handed and learnt to fly fish/cast with the reel set up for left hand wind, ive always stuck with it so its second nature now

Not true, if you are more comfortable reeling with your right, there is no problem in changing hands. Get the dealer to reverse the drag to right hand wind, and re spool the line. If you know how to do it yourself, go for it. If it doesn't work for you, change it back.

All my reels, fly, spinning and multiplier are set up for left hand use and always hold the rod in my right. Find it allows the better arm (if your right handed) much better control of the rod, whilst the inferior arm (left if your right handed) simply has the job of winding in line as you play the fish.

Do what you feel comfortable with - that's what's important.

I hold the rod in my right hand and wind with my left on all my fly and bait/spin rods with the exception of my Double handers. They are set for right hand wind and I don't have any problems swapping from one to the other.
As everyone else has said, stick with what feels right for you.
