I am up every sept and have been for the past 15 odd years
I will be using this year as is the norm: kates, heatherflies, clan chiefs
black zulus, claret and bibio hoppers, invictas,Connemara blacks and pearly pennels.Sizes 12
I also take a selection of size 16, 14 and 12 sedges.
Blue Ewes,Jersey Herds and Peter Rosses on size 6 salmon irons on the river Invers mouth.
I also take some poppers for a laugh fishing off the rocks for the Sea Trout...great fun if you can be bothered getting pestered by Mackies.I whack it out with a 14ftr on a shooting head and slow retrive back.
The longer the walk the better the fishing, some lochans which look like puddles can hold some big troot.

Hopper fishing up there is great back end. Do you dap? If not a full set up is cheap as chips and the most exciting method of fishing I've ever known. Great thing is the rods are telescopic and you can roam around with them all day in your sack. No boat required, just a breeze and there's never a shortage of that up there.
