I went to the sportsfish show today and had a play with a 10wt NRX Loomis and the 10wt Proaxis Hardy rod. I want them both but need a new 10wt for Florida this year. They were both very similar actions and the tips were very responsive, I found it easier to load the hardy at shorter range and both the same at longer range, so is the loomis worth the extra money, in a nut shell no and I'm a hard core loomis man with 4 CC GLX's. I will be ordering the Hardy what a great rod they have produced. ( At Last )..
