hi guys am of to work in kendall for a week is there any fishing nearby would love to take my fly gear so could fish a couple of hrs on a evening.

There's fishing on the river Kent - probably a bit early for salmon yet, but there aught to be a few seatrout starting to appear and the brownies are there of course - can't really help you in terms of permits, had some info somewhere but I lost it. Sure someone else will be able to enlighten you though.

Actually, here's a link to kent (Westmorland) A.A. who have about 8 miles of fishing on the river.

If you're in Kendal you're about 30 mins from Esthwaite Water which is fishing really well at the moment and definitely worth a visit if you're into stillwaters. They've got an offer on at the moment (25% off) if you print their voucher and take it with you. PM me and I'll send it onto you.
