Well...this afternoon I ventured onto my local brook to have my first proper go at fly fishing. Started off on a PTN, but soon realised it was way too slow and cloudy on the stretch I was on, so switched to dry on a Klinkhamer and successfully landed 4 wild browns...managed to snap the following pic of my largest(!).

Thanks for the comments fellas! Only had about a 50 meter stretch to play on today...there's some more promising looking runs on either side, but waiting for the farmer to give me the ok to fish them. Can't wait!
