Default holiday

after 10 days motorcycling in the highlands of Scotland(folowing the PRE-65 trial.then the big trial he SSDT)I have returned, still medically challenged but nearly fit to get out there,I had no fishing.in the middle of fishing paradise.
So on return tonight 6.30pm I unpacked the bike and sort of rushed out to get a bit of fishing in.resulting in this lovelly brown just ast it was getting dark.

Great to have you back, Jim. Hope the holiday did you well. Could do with one too. Nice fish for a confidence builder, think you're ready to knock out those salmon, again.

Take care,
Johan

Hope you enjoyed the holiday Jim. That must have been hard not to fish while away.

I was surrounded by great Trout and Salmon waters.but On my biking holiday there is not enough time to get a rod out as I follow the trial. still managed to talk fishing with a few friends
There was a major shortage of water in the rivers on the west coast, and some of the lochs were very low.the moors were very dry.But the rain arrived yesterday as I travelled home.

Glad you enjoyed yourself Jim and well rewarded I see when you got back.

What does following the trail mean exactly? Across country? Were there lots of you doing it, or just you chugging along by yourself? Maybe 'chugging' isn't the word I'm looking for....
