Default intrepid rimfly king size help please

I have an intrepid rimfly king size, 3.5 inch, I think i'm right in saying made by leeda.

How can I tell what weight line it should take?, I can't find it marked anywhere and would like any help to find this out.

Thank you.

I hope this is'nt a stupid question.

Dave

Don't take this as writ but anything from a 6wt onwards then it's down to the amount of backing to load the reel

I also have a Pezon & Michel Galicia fly 600 3.25 inch, again I cannot find a line weight anywhere on it. Would the same apply in that case as well?.

Thanks again

Dave

By compairing the two reels you should be able to assess the spools for comparable capacity.

These reels were designed a very long time ago - at least 40 years ago at a time when most lines were double tapers which obviously takes up more space. I still have one of these reels and it's got a WF10 medium sinker + a load of backing.
