just went down there for the first time on wednesday, the weather was lovely and hired a boat with one of my mates, tough day it was with almost flat calm and bright sun but that didnt stop me picking out one at least! (only one other person out and i think he blanked)



beautiful isnt it? mabye overwintered? this 2lber put up one hell of a fight about 4 times to the net only for it to scream off in a new burst of life!

short while after that i hooked an absolute train it ripped most of the line out before i even knew what happened,.and in the panic of trying to grab this bouncing line when i did eventually grabbed it it snapped, then seen it jump clear of the water afterwards almost saying HA! looked like a good 4lber but wow.... these fight like nothing iv experienced. and iv had fat stockies up to 10lb but they come in like a wet rag normally.
il definately be going again very soon maybe have abit more luck.
also anyone fish it reccomend flies/good spots? cheers
