Default Japanese knotweed eradication

For years our club water has been over run with this dreaded weed making much of the river unfishable. Over the years our club has tryed spraying in the spring to stop it bu it just kept growing, with the help of the Esk Fishery Trust both in man power and money from grants the Knottweed was spraayed in the spring but more important sprayed again in sept/ oct. This season no growth is showing where it was not sprayed at the backend the dreaded weeh is 6 foot high, so if you are troubled with it get it sprayed at the back end or the year. I for one is looking forward to fishing pools you could not get near for years and hopefuly the small river Bervie is on the way back
