Hi are there any members with experience of this rod ,if so how dose it compare to a Z Axis or XP would appreciate any information thanks Dave.

It doesn't compare to either, i have the 9ft #5 model and casted most the others in the #4 and #5 and 6.. the only thing the rod is not that suited for is chucking arround heavy nymph rigs, but used as a dry fly or light nymphing rod you will be in for a shock.. The IIIx is powerfull but the tip makes this rod smooth as silk, i tested quite a few lines on it and like all really good rods it did well with most of them.... When i first picked it up i suspected the rod to have the same problems the IIx had, sloppy tip, stiff butt.. Without a line on it feels the same as the IIx but then take it out and everything Winston tried with the BIIx becomes clear...
