Default Cheap cane/bamboo rod?

I am looking for a small rod for trout fishing in streams (around 6/7ft and line weight 2/3). I fancy getting a cane/bamboo rod for the softer action. Anyone know where I can get one for as cheap as possible (preferably under £150 )

Cheers
Alex

You wont go far wrong with a Zhu Alex, approx £120 delivered new with two top sections.
I and quite a few others on here are delighted with them.
Take a look here.

Have you considered glass?

my mate and I have recently got a cabelas 50th anniversary CGR 6'6"" delivered from the US for less than £100 each. Ive fished with it twice now and can fault it on the beck. I'm also convinced that its the same rod as a vision cult fiber in a different colour, for half the price ! they the rahne of sizes is evel identical. Have a look at both and convince me thyre not, My local tackle dealer saw my mates and said straight away that its the same rod as the vision. hay get rave reviews on th fibreglass forums in the states as well.

Another for the cabelas, excellently finished and beautiful deep action. Nice alternative to cane that you won't mind chucking up the banking. Jon

Have you thought of going the other way and trying Tenkara rods if the fish are small. If I could find a decent and really cheap Tenkara I would buy one.
